Pastors Johnathan and Kristi Whichard serve as the Lead Pastors of Reach City Church located in N. Chesterfield, Virginia. They have served in full-time ministry for over thirty years and continue to passionately dedicate themselves to raising up sons and daughters who will pursue the Kingdom of God to reach an end time harvest of souls. They both share a deep love and anointing for people and are an unstoppable force in the Kingdom!
Together they have been deeply impacted by many powerful voices throughout their journey together in ministry, namely Dr. Rod Parsley, who they recognize as a spiritual father in the faith. Most recently, they have connected to Apostle Ron Carpenter, who serves as their spiritual covering and overseer. Pastor Johnathan and Kristi are an intricate part of Apostle Ron’s network of pastors and leaders, called Redemption Fellowship.
Pastors Johnathan and Kristi have a very busy life but remain fully invested in their three adult children and spouses, and especially the seven(and counting) grandchildren, who affectionately call them Pop Pop and GiGi.
Pastor Johnathan and Kristi have been tremendously blessed with anointed men and women of God who have spoken into their lives all throughout their ministry. They believe that placing themselves under proper leadership is critical to not only their spiritual health, but also the body of believers they pastor. After praying and seeking the Lord throughout 2023, they sensed the Lord was shifting their ministry to align themselves with Redemption Fellowship under the leadership of Apostle Ron and Hope Carpenter. It is within this network of pastors and leaders that they receive weekly encouragement, personal development and leadership training, as well as spiritual accountability. Dr. Rod Parsley remains a spiritual father to them and their family.
